Shadowhunters
Seriál Shadowhunters vznikl na základě úspěšné knižní předlohy spisovatelky Cassandry Clare s názvem Nástroje smrti (The Mortal Instruments). Tento šestidílný příběh byl úspěšný natolik, že inspiroval i tvůrce filmu Město z kostí (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones), který se do kin dostal v roce 2013.
Pokračování se sice nedočkal, ale v březnu roku 2015 si ho oficiálně vybrala americká televizní stanice Freeform (dříve ABC Family) jako jeden ze seriálů pro seriálou sezónu 2015/2016.
Popis seriálu:
Mladá dívka jménem Clary Fray v den svých narozenin zjistí, že není obyčejná. Pochází totiž z dlouhé rodové linie Lovců stínu, napůl andělů a napůl lidí, kteří loví démony. Když unesou její matku Joselyn, svět, který jí byl doposud skrytý, se jí odhalí v plné síle, včetně záhadného Lovce stínů Jace. Teď, když žije po boku víl, čarodějů, upírů a vlkodlaků, se vydá na cestu sebepoznání.
